Best Indian food in the GTA and Niagara Region, hands down. Ive tried every dish on the menu and I havent found one I dont like. I ordered dinner for 4, and it fed 8 of us! The owner even offered to help us carry our takeout to the car because our hands were full. My family and friends are happy to have the Indian Hut restaurant in our little town and hope they keep feeding me for 100 years or until I explode.
me with my family went for the lunch today. We were the first customers of the day and it got really busy after we reached there. we were greeted kindly. we ordered some food and portions were quite generous, very well cooked and seasoned. we loved every bite of it. they made specially mild food for the kids. overall, we are happy seeing them in our town. will definitely go back!
I don't understand the two bad reviews. Someone wrote that they've never been to an Indian restaurant where you had to pay for rice. Really? I've never been to an Indian restaurant where you didn't have to pay for rice. I guess you don't eat at many Indian restaurants. Another person gave it a bad review because it wasn't open yet when he came. My review is based, in part, on food that I actually ate (which is what I thought everyone did for restaurant reviews). Food: Great. Service: Great. Ambiance: Great. Location: Great.
Just tried the Indian Hut for take out for our first time. We love good Indian food and normally drive into Burlington from Grimsby even for take out! So excited that we now have a "good" Indian food restaurant minutes from our home. The food was great, the portions large and the price very reasonable. Will definitely be a regular customer going forward. Very satisfied.
We had the dinner for four, take-out, and it was awesome. Lots of food, very tasty, and great sauces/spices. The staff were all friendly, too. I've had Indian food on three continents and this was some of the best I've tasted. My only small suggestion is that they take "delivery" off the website, since when we called they said they don't deliver (unless that's just for now). But that's a very small thing. The food was excellent, the value was great, plenty of leftovers, and friendly people. If any business can finally end the curse of that location in town, it's this restaurant. Highly recommend. Thanks, Indian Hut, for bringing some spice (metaphorically and literally) to Grimsby, and best of luck! We'll certainly be back soon. If you ever need a taste-tester, look no further. ;)
