Atmosphere, staff and owner are great! We have gone here for a few drinking nights! But the menu... Leaves much to be desired and the consistency of each item is simply not there. Highly suggested for a night out, just have your dinner elsewhere first.
Not a bad pub to have a drink at. Pubs are really not my scene, we went with friends. The chips/fries are really good.
We stopped by off the QEW for a quick supper. The guy serving bar and waiting on us was great! The waiter had the kitchen split our order before it came out. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back someday.
My boyfriend and I just moved to Grimsby from Hamilton and wanted to find a good place that had a patio and offered vegetarian options, so we stopped here. The food was really good! We were so pleasantly surprised! Delicious! The service was good as well, and the prices are fair. Good portion sizes too. Definitely will be returning and recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Over all not a bad place. The service was good. Very friendly people. Great selection of beers and I really liked the look and feel of the place. As for my meal, I ordered the French onion soup which was the soup of the day. Literally no flavour, I had to add salt to taste anything. It wasnt hot and was pretty skimpy on the ingredients. The worst French onion soup Ive ever had. They didnt even serve it in the traditional baked bowl way. Just a soup bowl with some shredded cheese sprinkled on top. Ive never seen that before. The wings I had after were pretty good though. Even though the soup sucked Id still go back. Just not for the soup.
