Imagine you're sitting watching an old movie on TV on Sunday night, when out of the corner of your eye, you notice the smart thermostat is blank, totally blacked out! After the initial WT darn moment, and after 1/2 hour of checking things out with the furnace, you see the blower is working but the igniter is not, so no heat! It's turned 10pm so best result now is go to bed with a space heater and contact a technician in the morning. That's where Premium Home Services comes in, I liked that it's a family owned business, with 16 years experience and a solid Google rating, with many top recommendations. My call around 9am was answered by Rob, who I find out later is the owner, and after a brief description of my problem, he booked a visit with an estimator for between 11am and 1 pm. Duly said, just before 12 am, Mike arrived and after thorough diagnosis, unfortunately not only was my 18 year old furnace unfixable, but it has been running dangerously for some time with a corroded heat exchanger. Not good! Mike did a quick tally up of house details and gave me a price with complete install of a high efficiency furnace including HST, which I thought was very reasonable. Deal done, it was scheduled for the next day for installation. Imagine my surprise when Tuesday morning, the door bell rings at just before 8am and Kevin and a bit later Tyler, arrived and get straight to work. These guys are very personable and knowledgeable, and very courteous as they did their work. Although it took until nearly 3 pm to remove the old unit, then get the new one assembled and calibrated, it was fantastic to receive the notice that heat is on once more. My sincere thanks to the whole team at Premium Home Services, for making a stressful and disconcerting and possibly dangerous event, get rectified very quickly and I can celebrate a nice warm home during Christmas and New Years!

i just had my furnace and AC replaced by Premium Home Services. The 3 guys [ Shawn, Brandon and Tyler] did a very neat and tidy job. I had mentioned to the guys that i had i had a 4 inch bathroom exhaust pipe in the bulkhead that i would tie in once they had left. it was a difficult spot to get at. While Tyler was hooking up the vent piping he took it upon himself to tie my bathroom fan in at the same time. excellent service

We called Premium after Rob was recommended to us by two other people in the area. Rob is fantastic. Our furnace and AC unit are 18 years old and came with the house (i.e. builder grade). So when the AC died I was convinced it was time for a new HVAC for the house. I previously had several other contractors come out to do estimates on a new system. Rob was the only guy who asked me what the AC symptoms were and insisted he take a look just incase it was an easy fix. In 10 minutes he had my AC up and running again after diagnosing a blow capacitor. Great service and I really appreciate being able to sleep in a cool house tonight. We will be having Premium install a new furnace and AC soon, but he has bought us some time to better budget and plan our decision. Rob also did a great job at explaining the different models and options we had, as well as the importance of balancing the HVAC after the new install. Excellent service all around.
