Like others have mentioned, the facility is a bit dated. However, almost everything is functional, so I'm not sure why people are as quick to complain as they are. People are complaining about the broken water fountain when there's a working one on the other side of the gym...The biggest advantage of this gym is it's size to occupancy ratio. No matter what time I go, the gym is never busy enough to affect my ability to workout efficiently (I never have to wait for anything). I've been to a few gyms in the GTA as well as in Ottawa and it's nearly impossible to have a functional workout during peak hours due to how busy the facilities get.One of the things I'd recommend for this gym is towel service like at other goodlife locations.
When is the drinking fountain getting fixed?? And stair master has had a chain sitting on it and broken for days... Grimsby is expanding and we have the worse looking gym in GL ... I hope a new gym comes to town.
Horrible location!!! Run down and very poorly managed. No towel service, lack of equipment choices. Crammed work out space. Theres always something broken to the point that you cant enjoy your experience. If its not the broken showers then its the broken air conditioning and on and in. The staff is also very rude compared to other locations. My advice is to take the drive to any other location. Its worth it. Either way you want to go, toward Hamilton or St.Catharines youll get a much better experience.
I hate this GoodLife location and only come here on the weekends since it's 3 mins from my house. During the week I prefer the other locations. There is not enough of the popular machines ie bench press, chest fly and even the cable machines and benches. The upstairs is a complete waste of space - personal training should be offered up there, the carpet is gross and washrooms/showers need updating . There is also no wifi meanwhile all the other locations have it.
Nice gym. I give them 3 stars. I would give them 5 stars, but they play CNN fake news 24/7 and it makes my eyes bleed.
